Inconel 718 Plate
(AMS 5596, ASTM-B-670, B50TF14 Class A&E, UNS N07718)
Inconel® 718 (also known as UNS N07718) is a precipitation hardening super alloy that combines high strength and oxidation resistance with superior weldability. This nickel-based alloy contains significant levels of columbium, iron, and molybdenum, in addition to smaller amounts of aluminum and titanium.
718 Plate Features & Properties
Inconel 718 plate is known for their high impact, tensile and rupture strength. In many alloys, this level of strength results in a loss of welding performance. Inconel® 718 plates stand out, however, since they possess an invaluable combination of durability and weldability. In addition, this super alloy can withstand a wide range of temperature extremes and is trusted for both cryogenic and high-heat applications.
